TerraStrat® ist ein 100 % natürlicher mineralischer Bodensubstrat auf Basis von Klinoptilolith (Zeolith), der gezielt zur Verbesserung der Bodenstruktur, des Wasserhaushalts und der Nährstoffverfügbarkeit eingesetzt wird.

Dank seiner hochporösen Struktur und grossen aktiven Oberfläche wirkt TerraStrat® als selektiver Ionenaustauscher, der Ammonium (NH₄⁺) bindet und pflanzenverfügbar speichert. Dadurch werden Nährstoffverluste durch Auswaschung reduziert und ein stabileres Nährstoffmilieu im Boden geschaffen.

TerraStrat® verbessert die Wasserspeicherfähigkeit, fördert die Aktivität von Bodenmikroorganismen und unterstützt die Bildung einer krümeligen, gut durchlüfteten Bodenstruktur. Dies wirkt sich positiv auf Keimung, Durchwurzelung und das Pflanzenwachstum aus.

How TerraStrat® works

TerraStrat® is based on high-quality clinoptilolite (zeolite) with a highly porous, crystalline structure and a very large internal surface area. These properties allow for high water retention as well as effective ion exchange in the soil.

In particular, ammonium ions (NH₄⁺) can be bound in the pore system of TerraStrat® and stored in a plant-available form. This reduces the risk of nutrient leaching and supports a more uniform nutrient supply for the plants.
